Y. Wilcox is a storytelling and live experience company dedicated to creating spaces where women are heard, seen, and celebrated.

Our work is rooted in a single belief: every voice carries power. Through written content, immersive audio and live experiences, we help individuals and communities find the courage to speak their truth—and the confidence to stand firmly in it.

Whether through a podcast conversation, a published piece or a room filled with women sharing their stories, our mission remains the same: to create narratives that resonate deeply and leave a lasting impact.

How It All Started

Y. Wilcox began with a feeling before it ever became a platform.

What began as informal storytelling grew—encouraged by community, friends and family—into writing, speaking and eventually creating spaces where stories could live beyond the moment.

A personal blog became a gathering place. That gathering evolved into a podcast. The podcast expanded into live events, speaking engagements and curated experiences centred on connection and truth.

Today, Y. Wilcox operates across multiple platforms, offering various services, united by one defining thread: storytelling.

I’m Y. Wilcox, a storyteller, podcast host and event experience curator who creates spaces for women to be heard, seen and celebrated.

Whether it’s through a podcast conversation, a blog post or a women’s gathering, my mission is to help people find the courage to speak their truth and give them the confidence to stand in it.

As a Podcast Host, Writer & Blogger, and Women’s Conference Organizer, my job — and my joy — is to hold space for those moments when someone stands up and says, “This is me. This is where I’ve been. This is what I’ve learned.” To listen. To celebrate. To remind people that their stories matter.

Through thought leadership, community engagement and storytelling across platforms, Yomi and Y. Wilcox continue to amplify women’s voices and contribute to a more inclusive and equitable society.
